The current owners of the Butler Property shared with us a box filled with mementos from the family–including this envelope stamped #onthisday in 1930, which was later filled with postage stamps. Can you identify who or what are on these stamps? #Cupids #NL #heritagenl

The St. George's Church storm windows were made with dense old pine. When doing repairs to windows, it's ideal to use the same species, quality and age of wood. Chris acquired some old pine from the demolition of Spencer School and some was used in the repair of the windows.

Have you done your shopping for the work week ahead? Maybe you can get some inspiration from the Butler Family's grocery list dated #onthisday in 1933, found among the Butler Family Collection. Fat back and molasses anyone? #Cupids #NL #heritagenl
