It’s wild that no one talks about how UK washing machines take 3-4 times longer with 10-20 times less effectiveness than all the other washing machines on earth.

1. Norway's position on Palestine epitomises the contradiction of our times. Norway has one of the most active and mature civil society in Europe when it comes to Palestine, critical media, engaged intellectuals and the government has taken very important steps on Palestine.

I’ve reported 18 wars over 35 years. I’ve been shot at, kidnapped, threatened, nearly raped. I’ve lost friends from Sarajevo to Syria. I thought I’d seen the worst of humanity. I was wrong. Nothing compares to Gaza — or the complicity letting it happen. #GazaGenocide #WarCrimes

They try to stop their genocide from being documented with these war crimes against journalists, but we have seen the truth and will not look away.

What is happening, in a practical sense, is that Britain is being turned into a hostile environment for trans people. Trans people are being driven from public life. This is a monstrous injustice, and it won't last. It doesn't stop it being monstrous in the here and now.

I think we are expected to admire the Trump voter who stood for his daughter’s small business but what the f did he think he was voting for? The tariffs were not a secret dude. nytimes.com/2025/08/20/bus… via The New York Times

Stop the discourse of civil war in the US. The center and left are not gearing up for war. They are barely gearing up for protest or organizing a congressional opposition. There may well be violence, but what is happening will be the pretext, not the actual cause.

The Met aren't using Live Facial Recognition at "Unite the Kingdom" Now I'm not a fan of LFR, I've spoken out about how it breaches ohuman rights. But when it is used mainly in areas with high Black populations, Notting Hill Carnival & not today screams of bias use by the Met.

Where is Keir Starmer? Where is the leadership? Fascists marched on our streets yesterday and he hasn’t said a single word. Instead the Prime Minister spends his time defending the “best pals” of paedophiles. He is a coward. He should resign.

I can't stop thinking about 1 sentence in today's UN report regarding Israel's genocide in Gaza. "Israeli security forces shot at & killed civilians, including children who were holding makeshift white flags. Some children, including toddlers, were shot in the head by snipers.”

It’s wild how Labour’s fascist Home Secretary is rambling on about “un-British behaviour” in relation to peaceful protest when playing music without headphones on the bus is RAMPANT in London, like bitch target your resources accordingly

I need more details about the Louvre heist because this sounds way too easy. What do you mean they just climbed up and cut a hole in the glass? That’s how Bugs Bunny would steal from a museum.
