1/ More student politics here from a parliament increasing characterised by such. Nowhere in this amateur hour attack job on the EHRC are the rights of women or LGB people considered, despite the fact these rights were in the balance in the Supreme Court. It's trans all the way.

Hormone-fuelled young boys with poor executive functioning, a few feet away from girls taking their knickers down to pee. What in God's name happened to child safeguarding? Do adults have no basic common sense any more? Sue the pants off this school!

A reminder that whenever a man places a newborn on his nipple and utilitises the innate suckling reflex of that newborn, he is abusing that child. He should be charged with a sexual offence, not protected. The idea of these perverts ( let's bring back that word) invoking hard-won

The Good Law Project's statement of grounds against the EHRC actually cites cases from 1996 and 2005 as "historical context" for a 1992 Act. And clearly not read para 38 FWS1 which ruled these cases are not the authority for trans having the PC of the sex in which they present.

🧵(Another) thread on Police Scotland's transgender search policy. Nearly a decade ago the Scottish Parliament passed the Criminal Justice (Scotland) 2016 Act. After a drawn-out controversy, the Act put the use of stop and search in Scotland onto a statutory-only basis.

🏊‍♀️PONDS UPDATE: We wrote to City of London and asked them to follow the Equality Act. Their response was 🤯 "Women-only" doesn't mean "single-sex" because we let transwomen in... so that's ok then?! Help us bring the legal challenge! sex-matters.org/posts/updates/…

Alex Neil And where is the chief executive of NHS Scotland, Caroline Lamb, who is the person to whom the NHS central legal office, which is providing legal advice to NHS Fife, ultimately reports? She also sits on the Scottish government’s senior management board.

Jonathan Brown It feels to me like there's a lot of infantilising of Isla Bumba. She took a wage far higher than most nurses and - on the basis of zealotry and prejudice - merrily made decisions to destroy the 30-year career of a nurse. She, as well as others, should face harsh criticism and
