Looks like Global News managed to sneak some layoffs under the radar amid all the fury of Bell's disgusting cuts. Meanwhile, the CEO of Corus Entertainment (which owns Global) made $4.4 million in 2021. Sorry Jessica. You deserve way better -- we all do.

Last week, media layoffs came for Xtra. We lost 16 people across our parent company Pink Triangle Press, including several key members of our (already very small!) team at Xtra. I’m angry for my colleagues who very suddenly lost their jobs, and I’m frustrated with all of this.
