The Blackhawks have arrived at the Blue Oval for day two of the State Championship Meet. Go Blackhawks!

Gabe Anderson runs the 110m hurdles for Hinton Track in a time of 15.71 and places 15th in the preliminary round. Cutoff time to advance to the finals was 15.24.

The Hinton Track team earns its second medal of the weekend as Gabe Anderson places 8th in the Class 2A 400m hurdles with a time of 55.57. That time also re-breaks his school record from earlier in the season at the War Eagle Conference meet.

This relay finished up the 2025 State track and field championships with a new school record in the 4x400. They broke their own record set in the conference meet. Congratulations Gabe Anderson, Ian Greigg, Jackson Kounkel, and Micah Robins!

Blackhawk seniors: With the 2025 track and field season over for the Blackhawks, nine seniors have officially ended their high school track and field careers. These nine athletes have set the bar high for all future Blackhawk thinclads both in competitive spirit and leadership.

Blackhawk seniors continued: Gabe Anderson, Jack Beeck, Brooks Binneboese, Jacob Bishop, Logan Charlson, Ian Greigg, Kyle Leary, Cooper Nelson, and Carson Sudbeck have been great representatives for Blackhawk nation and their talents will be greatly missed. Thanks 2025 seniors.

Calling all Blackhawk parents. The track and field teams will be taking admission at the Plymouth County Fair on July 24 as a fundraiser. Athletes have signed up for shifts, but we need adults to help at each gate. Call or text Coach Diediker at 712-577-7767 if you can help out.
