On Jan 16, 2025 HISP Uganda teamed up with Ministry of Health- Uganda DHI Environment Malaria Nutrition NCD dep'ts to explore DHIS2 powered Climate & Health tools & co-create impactful use cases. Together we're building resilient health systems to tackle climate change's effects on health




HISP Uganda is proud to join the Climate and Health Technical Working Group - Uganda. The team attended first meeting @ Regenerate Africa HQ to contribute to strengthening climate resilience in the health sector. We look forward to continued collaboration with key stakeholders


At HISP Uganda capacity building remains a priority. We recently trained Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC) staff in dhinna customization, data management & reporting at our HISP Uganda Training Centre. UAC will be expanding its DHIS2 use cases. Exciting progress ahead #HealthData #UAC


Exciting progress ahead in fight against antimicrobial resistance as HISP Uganda collabo with Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University under Fleming Fund initiative to strengthen AMR surveillance in Uganda though devpm'nt of a Data Integration & Sharing System (DISIS)—for health animal & environmental data


HISP Uganda & Ministry of Health- Uganda Nutrition Division, DHI with Nutrition Technical Officers, MoH IT & UNICEF to develop validation rules, indicators & SOPs for improved nutrition data reporting. Aligned with the revised HMIS tools, this effort enhances data quality & decision-making


.Ministry of Education and Sports - Uganda in partnership with HISP Uganda and Save the Children, is strengthening education data systems through the Data Use Innovations Research Project. Funded by Norad & IDRC’s GPE KIX, the project empowers local managers with data-driven decision-making. #OpenGovUg




HISP Uganda joined HISP groups from across Africa in Dar es Salaam 🇹🇿 for a DHIS2 Data Quality Training organized by @UiOslo Hispafrica & led by HISP TANZANIA. A great week of learning to strengthen health data quality practices in DHIS2 to drive better health outcomes.



HISP Uganda was honored to participate in the Climate & Health Subcommittee convened by the Ministry of Health - Uganda We had the opportunity to present ongoing efforts in climate and health data integration, including demonstrations of our data integration and modeling tools.



Boosting Uganda's health security; HISP Uganda & Ministry of Health- Uganda are collaborating to tackle disease outbreaks head-on. Our work with DHIS2 provides crucial data for monitoring climate change and protecting communities.
