Did you know that Ipswich Town is closely linked to Arsenal? Following a chance meeting with Samuel Hill-Wood and a visit to Highbury, John Cobbold gave the money for Ipswich to turn professional in 1936. See this and more in our new historical map of Ipswich on 23/4! #IPSARS.

HistoricTownsTrust Medieval Murder Maps medimurdermaps.bsky.social Just used the Chester map to find the location of a murder reportedly outside the main gate of the Dominican Friary (if memory serves) - now the front office of ‘Good Comms Marketing Agency’ (according to Google maps). I wonder if they know. 😁
