I held this book in my hands today! It looks great &, no surprise, it is concise & very accessible. Congratulations Tim Compeau. We have a great team Huron History Dept & Community History Centre @huronatwestern #VastEarlyAmerica

Our students are out with Thomas Peace this week learning about 17th & 18th century Mi’kmaw, Acadian, & Nova Scotian history.

I was honoured last night to receive the CHA's 2024 Clio Award for the best book in the history of Atlantic Canada. My name is on the book, but the ideas in it developed from being part of some wonderful scholarly communities CHA/SHC (cndhistassoc.bsky.social) @huronatwestern (among others). #cdnhist
