Disappointed by the string of negative REF OA consultation responses. I felt the proposal was fairly pragmatic & an achievable compromise between researcher/publisher. Perhaps a open research outputs rather than OA policy would be preferable way to greater diversity of outputs.

Funder level collaborations are hard but can hugely increase impact (Europe PMC is my go to example). A range of interesting models summarised in this FT article working at different scales and domains. ft.com/content/8403a8…

Great to see this work published. Insights already used to inform the recent funding call from the same team. Deliberate choice to use no-fee instead of diamond to refer to this publishing model due to participant feedback.
