Sunday 22nd - so relieved the river has finally dropped and we can welcome bookworms and plant people aboard once more 😃

No bookworm’s birthday is complete without a trip to a bookshop, so I headed to Holdfastleeds & made a couple of purchases! They have a great selection of both new & used books & if you visit Leeds by train, you can catch the water taxi from the station! 🙌🏻

A meeting yesterday gave me the chance to visit the lovely Holdfastleeds bookshop aboard the coal barge Marjorie R at Leeds dock one of National Historic Ships UK flagships of the year. Well worth a visit if you are in Leeds - take the water taxi along the canal from the behind the station

thanks to our lovely customers, whatever you are doing - we hope you get to read past bedtime at least once 😉 We are taking a bit of time off - some ‘shore leave’ - and a bit of boat maintenance time for Marjorie R. back on Thurs 4th of Jan. Hold Fast til then 😘
