As cancer patients waiting to start treatment is worst time for many. Starting treatment empowers patients that they are taking action against their disease. Now we add waiting for a treatment slot to the already stressful waiting for a treatment plan 1/

It's very upsetting reading TheJournal.ie report on delays experienced by cancer patients waiting to start life saving treatment. I fear we're getting desensitised to the real impact of such failures.. the actual suffering and fear caused to the human lives behind these stats 😥
