Congratulations to Holmfirth pupils Max and Alex, who play for Huddersfield School Boys and who, over half term, competed in an international tournament in the Netherlands. The team performed brilliantly resulting in Max- Captain, lifting the Juliana Malden Cup! Well done boys 👏

Monday our GCSE Business Studies pupils spent the day in Blackpool learning about the business behind Blackpool Pleasure Beach. They also managed to enjoy the rides and the rain (mostly) held off! 📈🧑🏻‍💼🎢

Thank you to Mr Chesman Yorkshire Sculpture Park who gave our Year 7 geographers an insight into careers linked to Geography. Our guided walk and talk was really informative giving us a greater understanding of the different types of jobs undertaken by the Head of Estates and his team 🌍

We absolutely loved working with the wonderful students Holmfirth High for Holmfirth Arts Fest In our workshop we created huge sculptural flowers . Sited in the river bank, it was brilliant watching the reactions of passers by waiting for them to bloom at twilight. Kirklees Council
