Great second day out with Scilly Pelagics and Oriole Birding. An amazing 29 WILSONS petrels seen with 6 dancing together over the waves, just stunning!! 150 Greats, 110 Cory's, 2 Sootys and a Pom Skua, my highlights. James Phillips Roger Howell Gary Elton (Norfolk guided birding) Paul Eele Richard Gilham

Another mind-blowing day with Oriole Birding in the waters south of Scilly. 37! Wilsons petrels, 80 euro storm petrels, 350 Cory's + 130 great, 5 sooty, 500 Manx shearwaters, long tailed skua & yellow legged gull.

Last of three pelagics today with Scilly Pelagics & Oriole Birding, yet another stack of Wilson's, 37, total for trip 70!! Views today were immense, gotta love that yellow webbing. More great looks at the large Shears too, plus a nice 1S Long-tailed Skua & more Artic Terns - Wow!

Huge thanks to the teams Scilly Pelagics & Oriole Birding for a superb few days looking for seabirds off Scilly. 70 Wilsons petrels + lots of big shears. If you was some top quality pelagic birding I can't recommend these trips highly enough.

Wow, St Anges & Gugh are rat free! Great work Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust The Duchy of Cornwall RSPB Natural England helping breeding Manx Shearwater & European Storm Petrel return to the #IsleofScilly Both seen on the Scilly Pelagics at the weekend too! 🙂 Bird photos: Roger Howell

Great video from Mya Bambrick of one of the Poole Harbour White-tailed Eagles from Bruno C. de Paula Ham Common on the Birds of Poole Harbour pop-up. What a privilege to see these from these urban reserves, such a great opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy a magical experience.

Great news this week as BCP Council Parks Foundation & Bird and Recreation Initiative start work to create a new viewing facility along the #TurlinMoor shore line at #LytchettBay This aims to encourage & support everyone in the local community & beyond to enjoy nature whilst giving it space. 👏

Nice to catch up with the Velvet Scoter at #LonghamLakes this morning found by George Green earlier in the week. Also present 2 Great White Egret, 1 Cattle Egret plus Firecest and a few Redwing and Siskin over Martin Wood Dorset Bird Club
