The Times referred to my theory on housing in its leader column. Building more houses is NOT the answer to dealing with housing. We have to restrain foreign demand in order to give Brits a chance. Bow Group #housingmarket #housingcrisis #housing

These people seriously think that building another 4 MILLION rabbit-hutch houses and flats will improve life in the UK?? Madness 😲 #housingmarket #housing x.com/crisis_uk/stat…

They are right, and the number will keep growing unless the Government finds its nerve and tackles the two principal causes: 1) over-population in the SE. 2) foreign investors theguardian.com/society/2018/m…

Building more homes will continue to have no impact on house prices. We have been flooding SE England with new houses for 20 years and house prices carry on rising. How long will UK Governments persist with this disastrous failed approach?

There is no such thing as the “housing market”. There is also no shortage of houses in the U.K. and therefore building more homes has little impact on house prices. Price inflation is caused by housing demand and monetary policy, not supply issues.

Yet another analysis of the rise in house prices that refuses to mention its prime cause: population growth. There are simply too many people chasing houses. The UK could easily house its own citizens if it restricted foreign buyers independent.co.uk/news/business/…

20 years of U.K. House price inflation has been caused mainly by government policy, on interest rates, on immigration and on foreign investment. Citizens should not pay the price for this by losing their parks, playing fields and green belt. #housingcrisis

Great for estate agents. A disaster for citizens trying to buy a house. Elite demand pulls up housing prices all the way through the market.

Tories to announce #stampduty increase for foreign buyers? theguardian.com/politics/2018/… Well, if they do, let's hope it is accompanied by a cut in Stamp Duty for UK buyers.

An insane idea that will destroy precious countryside replacing it with hellish new towns, and will have NO impact on house prices. theguardian.com/environment/20…

Causation wrong here too I think. People are more relaxed about immigration because they believe their government will soon have some control over it.. thetimes.co.uk/article/1e20d8…
