With Prof. Marko-Varga and his team from Lund University we visited the Dept of Pathology at University of Szeged, the Eli Alps, the Szeged Biobank and the Single Cell Center at HUN-REN Biological Research Centre, Szeged. The Melanoma Megastudy project aims to analyse melanoma tissues to fight the disease.

Some of our colleagues participated in a roundtrip in Germany, visiting collaborators at EMBL and the Heidelberg University Hospital. It was nice to share scientific achievements and meet everybody in person. Thank you for the invitation and the good company.

Tumor spheroids are invaluable tools in cancer research and in understanding tumor biology. The miniature, 3D replicas faithfully mimic the complex structures and behavior of real tumors. We continuously improve BIAS to enhance the automatic evaluation of 3D spheroids.
