We’re playing the HRLBraves & HRL Americans today. We don’t really know who’s showing up, but there’s a rumor that a rarely seen classic Twin may show up, so that’s exciting. Our manager, who told us a couple weeks ago he wouldn’t miss another game this season, is out.

We just noticed that the Americans are now going by the “Mericans” - no ‘A’ - on the HRL: Twin Cities website. It’s left them with an A hole, if you will. Related: it’ll be good to see H8R again tonight.

More importantly tonight’s Helping Seniors patch winner was the goodest boy, Louie! Amanda was in the running to become a repeat winner but it slipped through her grasp when she didn’t take our orders before going on her DQ run.

NEWS FLASH: The HRL Loons swept us last night. If there was any good news from it, it’s that Web Gem was ass at the plate so he took home the Helping Seniors patch (photography courtesy of Fish who then turned the camera on himself).
