Last month the Washington Post ended publication of its award-winning magazine and laid off its brilliant, irreplaceable staff. Today, on their last day at their jobs, magazine employees & Washington Post Guild members are bringing the magazine archives to Library of Congress for posterity.


Dani and David Montgomery are among a group of 11 irreplaceable journalists whose jobs at The Post officially end today. That they spent their last day doing this is a testament to their generosity, graciousness and commitment to their work. The newsroom will miss them desperately.
