This is a shocking indictment of Bristol City Council planning services. Not only are they failing to determine applications but when they do they are permitting dreadful development as instructed by the Mayor: ‘Bristol's failing planning department taken over’ bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…

🤔 There is no commitment to opening a new GP surgery in South Bristol despite thousands of new homes being built. Marvin Rees said that building more housing would actually “free up NHS resources”, despite the thousands of extra patients needing help. ActionGreaterBedminster Totterdown, Bristol

Bristol’s Bedminster Green is a sad story of missed opportunities, the collapse of pro-active planning, lack of vision and blatant greed. There is no excuse for badly designed buildings and homes that fail to reinforce our communities. Bristol City Council Royal Town Planning Institute Royal Institute of British Architects Town & Country Planning Association

This is astonishing. The MP who made the complaint to police about wrongdoing by Angela Rayner won’t or can’t say what she’s alleged to have done wrong. It’s not sub judice; as far as we know no charges are imminent. So why not just say. Bit weasely, no?

Because Bristol City Council under Labour are promoting unsustainable high block development none of you would want to live in - short sighted ‘planning by numbers’ rather than designing for civilised living.

Let’s look to best of European cities to meet our housing need with great communities: ‘Start planning now for a North Bristol new town’ UK Prime Minister @luhc HM Treasury West of England Mayoral Combined Authority #planning #architecture bristol247.com/opinion/your-s…

Sam and King Lucy the 1st National Conservatives - NatCs… you know, that sounds familiar somehow…?

A catalogue of elementary management errors Bristol City Council - including the most fundamental one of entering a building contract without prior full investigation..
