A T-SPIM Flamingo #lightsheet microscope has landed at Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL). Carsten Wolff has already tested our setup with a developing Parhyale hawaiensis embryo. We're looking forward to many more images and feedback from local faculty and course attendees!

Not the usual review - here is some helpful advice for anyone planning their tissue clearing and imaging experiments. Our latest paper in Nature Protocols: rdcu.be/ck4g1 Thanks Kurt Weiss @MesoSpim @DougPShepherd for the wonderful collaboration!

Very proud of our Dr Anjalie Schlaeppi who received her PhD today with highest grades from MPI-CBG Dresden IMPRS-CellDevoSys DIGS-BB “Multiscale imaging and quantification of rapid cardiac dynamics in living zebrafish embryos” Fantastic work by a wonderful lab member! #lightsheet #zebrafish

Moving beyond the limitations of costly #microscopy tools, the Huisken lab developed a small, transportable and inexpensive microscope that can be shared by multiple researchers called Flamingo (@getinvolv3d). Read on to see Flamingo in action! #LightSheet morgridge.org/story/bringing…

Even with the #lightsheet misaligned on the left this image was too good not to share. Springtail (Collembola) imaged on a Flamingo T-SPIM. Joined effort by Carsten Wolff and Gui Gainett Florez at Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) #embryo21.

Our new lab at Uni Göttingen is taking shape. We are starting to recruit on all levels (Technicians, PhD students, Postdocs). More details to follow - unsolicited applications welcome! First job add for our secretary: uni-goettingen.de/de/305402.html… #lightsheet #microscopy #zebrafish

What a cool virtual evening MPI-CBG Dresden, and congrats again to Dr Anjalie Schlaeppi, our #2021graduate! Very much enjoyed the music by “Sound of Samba” @eduardomota_de and Stephan Pankow

Want to build switchable dual sided-light sheet illumination with pivot-based stripe suppression using only a single moving element? Improved illumination uniformity and imaging speed compared with previous mSPIM Check it! opg.optica.org/boe/fulltext.c… Huisken lab Dr Anjalie Schlaeppi

Last chance to apply and join our lab as a technician. If you like working in a wet lab with #zebrafish, #platynereis, etc. and like preparing these for a #lightsheet #microscope, this job is for you. Deadline is Monday! #ZebrafishJobs Uni Göttingen uni-goettingen.de/de/644546.html…

We're happy to be part of #tim2023 organized by German BioImaging with one of our T-SPIM Flamingo #lightsheet microscopes. Very interesting discussions and lots of input!
