Honoured to lead a debate in Full Council tonight to mark the 80th anniversaries of VE day and VJ day, recognising the contribution of all our diverse communities to our triumph over fascism and hate. Powerful speeches from Saeed Ebrahim Dan De'Ath Peter Bradbury Margaret Lewis.

We made this budget allocation in March, and delighted that clubs are already receiving this money. Looking forward to see how it's used to improve facilities across Cardiff, including at St Albans RFC in Tremorfa!

Great to help unveil this project with local Cllrs Edward Stubbs, Huw Thomas & Anny Anderson. Funded by Welsh Government ā this first-of-its-kind tribute in Europe will no doubt inspire future Wales š“ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó æ history makers.
