Really excited to see that the project I contributed towards during my Uni of Sheffield PAC MRes has been published today! We mapped nearly 200,000 landforms and compiled a database of geochronometric ages in order to reconstruct past Greenland Ice Sheet evolution from 14-6.5 ka

If interested in how the Greenland Ice Sheet shrank , we have just published a paper on this plotting its reduction in area from 14 000 years ago and computing ice margin retreat rates. 📢I am glad it turned out this way!! A joint glacial geomorphology paper & map by Neil Glasser, Brian, CIGA UMAG, BC3 - Basque Centre for Climate Change and HGI Ikertaldea: 📰The glacial geomorphology of the Cordillera Darwin Icefield, Tierra del Fuego, southernmost South America tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

CryoExchange members Pete, Carla & Hannah are currently enjoying teaching some glacial geomorphology to School of GeoSciences @ University of Edinburgh students at Cwm Idwal! ⛰️🧊

Team photo from our 2022 expedition to Tierra del Fuego, Chile. Our first paper is now published in QSR. We discuss the breakup of the former Patagonian Ice Sheet and evidence for glacial lake formation and drainage.
