If you have missed Meg Jing Zeng's keynote at #VPP22 (we truly understand how difficult it is with different time zones), the recording will be up on our programme page in 20-30 minutes. Link: visualculturesecrea.wordpress.com/ecrea-preconfe…

Congrats to keisha is offline 🐝 for opening the ECREA Digital Culture & Communication pre-conference in such a beautiful & thought provoking way. Loving the theme of today's workshop which is 'work in progress': taking the focus away from the perfected/polished & shining the light on the process/challenges 🫶

Thanks so much for having me ECREA Digital Culture & Communication 💫

It's good to be back in the conferencing world after🤰 leave! I'm at #ECREA2024 in Ljubljana presenting our work from Previvorship where we analysed images of #BRCA #hereditarycancer across platforms. 🔊Thurs 26th, 14.30, FDV15

New paper in Sociology of Health and Illness Journal 🎉 Here we explore platform specific visual vernaculars and genres of ill health, specifically of #BRCA #hereditarycancer, finding that images tend to reinforce racialised and gendered views of the condition

At #ECREA2024? Make sure you don't miss Hannah Ditchfield presenting on social media visualities of ill health from our project Previvorship ! 👉Today, Thurs 26th at 14.30, FDV15👈
