🇳🇴 There are 70,000 members of Liverpool Norway, the official supporters’ club in Norway. 70,000 of a population of 5 million; that’s 1.4% of the country before you ignore those uninterested in the beautiful game. As a result beers are made for their fans 📍 Fyresdal, Telemark

Home, sweet home! Hylland is a tiny hamlet in the Norwegian province of Telemark. It’s from here where my great grandfather moved to Oslo to become a teacher around the turn of the 20th Century. Last visit was in 2009, about time to return

How is that for a sunset at Hylland? Spending the night (or next two or three) in my tent overlooking Hyllandshylen (A ‘hyl’ is a body of water formed by streams/rivers coming in and going out. Hyllandshylen means The Hyl at The Land of The Hyls!)
