I like the generalization here - but it obfuscates smth. Generally, we try to find solutions to a formalism under constraints e.g. locality. Smth constitutes a "Problem" if it requires novel or hard-to-interpret constraints. This distinguishes QM from the other examples.

You underestimate the sheer size of the set of plausible hypotheses.

What would a society look like where your ability to enter any form of legally binding contract is conditioned on you upholding past ones as well as oaths?

Proving that a concept is ill defined or has fuzzy boundaries is not tantamount to proving its non-existence from a pragmatic lens.
