Our top 15 innovators spent time discussing their ideas and networking with partners, past winners, and other distinguished guests. This provides attendees with a chance to learn directly about these initiatives and their problem-solving approaches. #iAccelerator6

What a wonderful performance by Boukuru_. She flawlessly captivated the audience with a performance of her own song ‘Nishimira’. We’re proud of the fruits of our sister initiative, ArtRwanda - Ubuhanzi and the strides made to promote talent from across the country.

Now comes the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the awarding of the top 6 innovative projects. Congratulations to our first winners, Sonia Umwali and Aimée Jules Simbi, whose project 'Rango Library' aims to give reliable #SRH information to young adolescents in their hometown.

The second winners of today are Mutoni Lareine, Iradukunda Kevin Jonathan, and Iradukunda Jean Claude. Their project 'Mushuti Wanjye Kiosk' offers a discreet way for young people to access different #SexualReproductiveHealth products like condoms and pills. #iAccelerator

The third winner in the #SRH category is Hakizayezu Fabrice and Berwa Derrick’s innovation called ‘Nyigisha'! Their project aims to provide crucial Sexual Reproductive Health information that will prevent teenage pregnancies and promote HIV prevention measures among youth.

The first of winners in the #mentalhealth category is Odree Mugwaneza and her team, with their project 'Matter Mind'. Their initiative aims to raise awareness about mental health, with plans to expand and reach many partners through ‘Ishusho TV’. Congratulations to them!

Congratulations to 'Emotions', another #mentalhealth innovative phone application project! This initiative offers online mental health training for youth ambassadors using the Common Element Treatment Approach (CETA) and provides a platform for young people to seek support.

The third winners in the #mentalhealth category in #iAccelerator6 are 'MINDORA'! Their innovative mobile application empowers users to access mental health information and connecting with experts, which will revolutionize mental well-being support.

To all the youth, Mental health and #SRH conversations are complex, interconnected issues that impact overall wellbeing and social interactions. Breaking the stigma and fostering open dialogue and support is vital to creating healthier generations and breaking poverty cycles.
