This week started with another ROSE awards presented by @JennyCLewis. We celebrated the amazing work of a CSW, ward clerk, and consultant to name a just a few. Goes to show how every part of the LTHT Specialty & Integrated Medicine makes an invaluable contribution to our CSU. Congratulations 👏

Lovely to visit the new discharge lounge today and talk about how we increase use of this important facility by LTHT Specialty & Integrated Medicine wards. The environment is lovely, calm, patients all talking to one another and extremely visible to the discharge lounge team.

Two festive feasts to rate this week Gemma Suzanne Wood Sarah Davey. The pork and sage meat ball and cranberry pizza with a gravy dip was a 9/10. Delicious. The Coop Turkey feast was a solid 7/10. Very heavy on the meats!! The view when eating it was an 11/10 though 🏔️

Last one before the big day. Pork and apple burgers with a parsnip and onion relish, cranberry mayo and sage chips. Saved the best until last. 10/10. Happy to take orders next time Gemma Suzanne Wood Sarah Davey

Today in 1876 Sir Titus Salt, one of the world's richest men died. He had built one of the world's largest factories in Saltaire near Bradford and alongside it 900 model homes, a theatre, hospital, church and library for his workers.
