⚠️ The 🇰🇷 government first attempted to silence teachers and deny their freedom of expression. It has now taken a dictatorial page out of a dark past to intimidate and silence criticism. These authoritarian and militaristic forces will not and must not succeed.

As events in South Korea unfolded, EI General Secretary David Edwards was leading an EI delegation participating in the UNESCO Future of Education Forum during which the South Korean government was attempting to demonstrate educational innovation and forward thinking.
