@nktgill Emma Dabiri Heather Marks When Another Country appeared in 1962 it caused a literary sensation: among the storm of reviews the Sunday Times said 'Let our novelists read Mr Baldwin and tremble. There is a whirlwind loose in the land.' What’s your favourite #Baldwin book and why? #ConversationswithBaldwin

This MA was such an important education for me, a complete refreshing of my imaginative landscape. I'll always credit the Historicising the Field module by Professor Deirdre Osborne for setting me on the course of writing historical fiction!

Did you know that Bristol Libraries has a reading room reassembled from the city's original 18th century library built in 1738-40? This scene was shot on location in that room and here you can see 18th century newspaper Felix Farley's Bristol Journal. #twitterstorians

It was beautiful watching the footage back of Deepraj Singh when editing 'Fugitives in the Archive'. The expressiveness, the place he goes to when moving, the sensitivity to other dancers. Absolutely beautiful.
