Over the past month, I’ve been to the West End to see the creators/stars of my favourite modern TV show, a British seaside resort to see some of my favourite Madchester/Brit Pop bands, and Vegas to see some of my favourite wrestlers. But I came home for Change of Heart. ❤️

What a miraculous band. Who drops an album like In The Wreckage 43 years into their existence? And reappears on stage after almost a decade like they never missed a beat? I still remember the first time I heard them 30 years ago. And I still feel that way every single time.

Of all the baseball feats I’ve witnessed in my lifetime, the most amazing by far is Tony Gwynn hitting .338 over 20 years. Never worse than .309 from 1983 through 2001. His entire career was a hot streak. And he was a great human being. Absolute legend.

Sad news for Hawkwind fans - Simon House, whose amazing keyboard and violin playing was a defining part of the band's post-Space Ritual sound, has died. Let's also remember his first band, the terrific High Tide, and his time in David Bowie's live band (pic - Yuji Kaida)
