1/n Our fourth volume of essays Ireland in the Nineteenth Century: Regional Identity edited by Glenn Hooper and Leon Litvack was published by Four Courts Press in 2000. It contains an exciting mix of essays on an important but under-researched subject in #irishstudies
3 literature PhDs at English UCC have made this podcast about writing a proposal, finding a supervisor and applying for funding. Well done, guys! I would have found this really helpful back when I was a clueless applicant (only I'm not entirely sure podcasts were even a thing).
