Proud/fortunate to be able to support the equity-centred, student-focused work of Hamilton Foundation for Student Success with both resources and my time as chair of the Board. Please consider buying a ticket. I promise you aren't just doing good, you will be awestruck with the talent in HWDSB schools.

MAKE SURE YOUR KIDS KNOW THIS, both in terms of sending and receiving. ~ Sharing intimate images without consent is a *crime*, punishable by up to five years imprisonment. ~ Receive those images? Break that trust? People DIE. ~ laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-46/…

Thank you Nicole O'Reilly Hamilton Spectator for compassionately telling Brent's story. The narrative of his life belongs only to his loved ones. I'm so privileged to be the one to help them negotiate the steps ahead, in his memory and to care for his soulmate Val. cc: Martin & Hillyer Associates

A giant in Civil Rights, on the silver screen and on the gridiron. The accused in many compelling and credible allegations of domestic violence. "I'm no angel..." and "I...look my accuser in the eye. I don’t look at my shoes...I know what I am. I only have to live with myself."

I'm no expert, but surely there is a better way to resolve this than large fines transferring 💰 from municipality to the province, resulting in municipality experiencing a budget shortfall and needing relief from the province? There is one taxpayer... thespec.com/news/hamilton-…

I can't begin to tell you happy this makes me. I'm a The Guardian Guardianista anyway, but this is putting your money where your mouth is. Despite no paywall, I'm heading off to resubscribe.

A reminder that you have a premier who introduced strong mayor powers, now having to contend with a mayor-elect that he called an “unmitigated disaster.”

Well, I think we can agree it's long past time for Hamilton's leaders to bravely set forth to foster relationships with Italy. If all goes well, we might develop a deep enough relationship to twin with and name streets after the cities being visited.

This is particularly disgusting. Throwing out the winding up of the corp that manages Ontario Place with the "Friday Trash". (West Wing reference for those of a certain vintage)

The psychology of marketing is such an interesting thing. Receiving an "offer" from Starbucks that they'll give me extra ⭐️ if I complete a "challenge". Needless to say, the "challenge" is just buying enough stuff that I wouldn't otherwise be purchasing...
