And we are off!! Today is our annual conference at The Chester House Estate, and we are ready for a number of exciting archiving talks 🎊

A fantastic talk to kick us off by Curator at the ARC, Ben Donnelly-Symes, about what the point of archiving is!! Thank you Ben🙂

Second speaker Joseph Perry from The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery explained an ongoing project to review their archive boxes. A very useful data set that will likely have many important applications going forward 👏

A fascinating third talk from Lucy Lawrence at Bucks County Council and Brett Thorn at Discover Bucks Museum about how they have utilised temporary displays to show 'just out of the ground' finds!!⚱️

For our fourth talk, Claire Tsang from Historic England gave us a sum up of the Future for Archives Programme - lots of interesting projects going on!
