Congratulations & thank you for an excellent book, I was delighted to attend virtually & hear about the work you are all doing to challenge the stigma & misconceptions surrounding dementia. The beauty of this work lies in its interdisciplinary approach & community engagement🙌🏻

Great to don my UCC singlet today & run from Farranfore to Firies-over 400 runners destined upon the village. Cups of tea were flowing while our friend & author Jerome Crowley signed copies of his new book ‘Athletic Scribblings’-there were no fast shoes back then just sheer grit!

The power of pets should not be underestimated, animal assisted activities (AAA) can be easily incorporated into rehabilitation activities. I would encourage all clinicians to ask their patients if they have a pet at home? It makes all the difference to what can follow Cork University Hospitals
