IIMC,Dhenkanal signed an MoU with SRFTI, Kolkata on 4th August 2025. This MoU opens up meaningful opportunities for collaboration between IIMC Dhenkanal and SRFTI across several academic and creative domains.

A dedicated training session has been organized for all faculty members on operating audio and video equipment and managing production processes.

A special lecture on "Governance, Urban Transformation, and the Role of Public Communication" was delivered by Ms. Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Govt of Odisha. Her valuable insights provided an enriching experience for students.

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor at IIMC-Dhenkanal. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Regional Director, Prof. Dr. Anand Pradhan. This was followed by a series of vibrant cultural performances from the students.

IIMC Dhenkanal celebrated its Foundation Day with flag hoisting & reflections on IIMC’s role in national development. Students, faculty & staff shared their experiences. The main events—debate competition & cultural programme—are lined up for tomorrow!

Mr. Akhil Kumar Mishra, ADG, PIB Bhubaneswar, interacted with our students and shared valuable insights into the government communication system. He explained its various dimensions and challenges, making the session truly enriching for budding media professionals.
