Infringements of intellectual property rights and 🇪🇺competitiveness are on the agenda, followed by discussion on AI with ELLIS Alicante.

I’m delighted from the constructive and fruitful discussion with the President of the #ECJ, Mr Lenaerts. The good functioning of the Court is of utmost interest to both its President and the Legal Affairs Committee.

Always a pleasure to exchange views with the European Chief Prosecutor, Mrs Kövesi. The work performed by the EPPO is impressive and the EP has full support to the institutions strive for justice and protection of the EU's interests.

It was a pleasure to hold an exchange with @MichaelMcgrath, Commissioner for Democracy, Justice and the Rule of Law. We discussed the need for resolute enforcement of the tools to safeguard European democracy and our shared commitment to the rule of law.

I am deeply saddened by the horrific tragedy in North Macedonia, where a devastating nightclub fire has claimed the lives of so many young people. This is an indescribable loss. I express my sincerest condolences to the bereaved families.
