"Just as we are trying to grow our hydropower, we are starting to lose our capacity to do it...". Very honoured to have been able to introduce Prof Stuart Lane's Keynote @IGC2024Dub, from loss of glaciers to gap between two cultures that are our social and natural sciences.

Great to see Joe Smith introduce our next keynote, held jointly with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in #London and #Dublin. Reminding us of the unique position of #geography in addressing #climate and #sustainability challenges & of our celebration of difference as a strength of humanity.

Couldn't imagine a better Trinity College Dublin #coastal team - and to have such eminent coastal geomorphologists as Prof Colin Woodroffe and Prof Tom Spencer with us @IGC2024Dub last week was a great honour. Owe them a lot. Thanks @etk89 for those lovely snapshots of the occasion!
