Alas still raining here in Kent Tom McKinney - hopefully it'll clear up in time for my walk with Kent Bat Group π¦π¦π¦ later at Dunorlan Park! I'm enjoying the mellow vibe of the Saint-SaΓ«ns too.

etting ready for the last day of Goldsmiths, University of London summer graduation ceremonies, enjoying #croissantcorner on BBC Radio 3, and yes, the wonderful BΓΠΌΓΞ·Γ IS holding my big stick! #honorand #bedel

When one actually runs to the local indie bookshop to nab a copy of this beauty #DouglasAdams πππ§ππ ππ π π»ππ§πππ€ #TheWordNewCross #bookjoy

Just bought my ticket to see (and hear!) the fabulous Errollyn Wallen Wigmore Hall on 28 Oct. Really looking forward to getting my hands on her new book "Being a Composer", AND thoroughly enjoying her being featured on BBC Radio 3 Composer of the Week with Donald Macleod

Oh so tiresome, with Murphys law in full force on Southeastern . Delayed train misses on time connection by a gnats chuff, next train 30 mins later delayed by over 20 mins... I love commuting.

Damn you Alsop and Walker - this has to be the best cheese I've ever eaten! Thanks to Weald Smokery for the recommendation, but what are we going to do now?!

When both your choices win the BBC Radio 3 #carolcompetition ! Well done to all the entrants and thanks Petroc Trelawny for a great December of festive music this year - my mum who now lives in France and I regularly chat about what's playing.

Husband is busy huffing and puffing that Test Match Special isn't live on the radio, doing his best Victor Meldrew ("I don't BELIEVE it's not on"). I'll be going out for a run to avoid the sulking!

Loving BBC Radio 3 and Tom McKinney today. I'm sure it's way at the top, but for the playlister challenge, the glorious and moving Ode on the Death of Mr Henry Purcell, by John Blow - may've missed it as I'm currently baking banana loaf!

Gahhh, it's the Trout on BBC Radio 3 with Georgia Mann and my washing machine has JUST joined in with its end cycle tune, almost in the same key, but *not quite*!

Today for #InternationalWomensDay2024 I am inviting ALL MPs and my local MP @GregClarkMP to do something truly transformative for women and vote to decriminalise abortion. The Womenβs Equality Party pic.x.com/CYo9T0az2P

What wonderful news on BBC Radio 3 just now to hear that the fabulous composer Errollyn Wallen has been made Master of the King's Music. I am honoured to know this incredible and talented composer and call her, dare I say it, a friend! Joyous news for a change.

Today's Kent County Council fail. Tried to get the one-an-hour Arriva Kent bus with my wheelchair bound husband for a medical appointment, but only space for one chair, so back we went for the car. If only we had our #bluebadge. #stillwaiting #disabilityawareness #strokesurvivor

Did Georgia Mann REALLY give the happy news that BBC Radio 3 this morning was a bulletin free zone? And fun times, all the pieces so far have been ones I've played or sung in - loving the selection so far! (altho now hit a snag in that I'm a cellist, not violinist!)

Oh yes! It's the #boxofdelights music on BBC Radio 3 now with Georgia Mann - the Christmas season has officially started. #HelyHutchinson

After hearing from Petroc Trelawny about the health benefits of coffee on BBC Radio 3, I read the article in The Guardian βmorning coffee drinkers were 16% less likely to die of any cause". Yep! Coffee makes you IMMORTAL!

Lovely to hear Beethoven 6 on BBC Radio 3 when I got in from my run - and yes, 2nd time hearing a #cuckoo in the woods #spring has sprung!
