We joined the National Conference on Intersectional SRHR with our Safe Space Champions themed “Embracing Intersectionality for Better SRHR Outcomes." It was a powerful space of reflection, shared solutions, and a call to break barriers, since SRHR is a right, not a privilege.

We were honored to attend the National Conference on Intersectional SRHR. From powerful panel discussions with religious leaders to showcasing our work in the exhibition, we joined fellow coalition members in shaping sustainable strategies for inclusive SRHR advocacy.

We’re at the 5th African Girls & Young Women Festival, uniting voices to reclaim our narratives and envision a future of justice and dignity. Aligned with AU’s 2025 theme on reparations, we’re reminded our strength in solidarity. Together, our advocacy is unstoppable. #SheLeads

Day 2 at the African Girls and Young Women festival, we unpacked reparations in regional groups, asking who holds power, who’s excluded, and how colonial legacies shape our rights. In sisterhood & healing spaces, we found strength, rest, and a shared vision for justice. #SheLeads

Cultural Night was a vibrant close to the Festival. We lit up the space in traditional wear, dancing, drumming, ululating; honoring the cultures that raised us. Joy became justice. Dance became a declaration. #ISpeak4Myself #SheLeads

Through Young Women Empowerment Network, we visited Cyahinda Genocide Memorial in Nyaruguru District, to honor the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and support survivors, mainly youth and widowed women. #Kwibuka31 #NeverAgain

Today, we welcomed the Nyakotsi Comet team; sharing stories, purpose & creativity. We explored future collabs rooted in fashion, design & empowerment. When purpose meets solidarity, every girl rises. 💜

Yesterday, we hosted the amazing Mushuti Wanjye team for an inspiring exchange! We explored ways to bridge SRHR gaps among youth using their stigma-free tech like IoT-enabled kiosks. At IGI, we’re excited to build bold, inclusive solutions together!

Women-led SMEs met with financial institutions during the HINGA UBUKUNGU exhibition to explore financing opportunities, build partnerships, and boost financial literacy. Together with Kvinna till Kvinna International, we’re paving the way for economic empowerment.
