Working on Animate UI gives me the opportunity to explore many headless component libraries. Base UI really stands out, mainly for its great dev experience and strong focus on accessibility. Still in alpha, but already solid and feels stable. Definitely keeping an eye on it.

Hey shadcn, is there a way for registry files[].target to resolve aliases from components.json (e.g. "{ui}/primitives/radix/accordion.tsx")? Right now I’d like to use aliases but still define a custom target path instead of the automatic one.

Yes, I don't think libraries should be in competition with each other, we share our work so that everyone benefits. There are libraries like React Bits by David Haz or Magic UI by Dillion that are really incredible and complementary to Animate UI!
