I flunked out of college with a 1.9 GPA my first year, appealed to be readmitted, and paid for 1.5 years of undergrad completely out of my own pocket. Took me longer than the “typical” 4 years to graduate. Now i’m a PhD candidate at a top tier university. STEM is for everyone 👨🏽‍🔬
