Happy #EarthDay! We had a chance to celebrate early with Bluffton School & Lacombe Junior High for a Regional Agriculture Day in Central Alberta! 🌎💚 Students had a chance to learn about regenerative farming, rotational grazing, biodiversity & more! Thanks to our program funders!





Field season may now be in full swing, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have time to visit classrooms! 👩🏫🤗 Thanks to the senior high students from St. André Bessette for bringing BIG enthusiasm for Ilana’s presentation on Energy and the Environment in #FortSaskatchewan! 🙏❤️



Our agriculture PD this weekend was an absolute blast! Thanks to our hosts & guides from Red Deer Polytechnic, Alberta Native Bee Council, Nutrien, RME, The Jungle Farm, CARA-AppliedResearch, Battle River Watershed & Altario School & to our funders Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, Nutrien, Alberta Government & Alberta Innovates!




Our last Regional Agriculture Day of the school year took place yesterday in #yeg! Thanks to our amazing hosts & guides from Detimdale Holstein, University of Alberta Pig Science Centre & Prairie Urban Farm, as well as our RAD funders Alberta Government, AAFC Canada, Nutrien & Alberta Irrigation Districts Association!


We recently had a chance to explore natural gas innovations, sustainability, geothermal energy & more in #RockyMountainHouse! BIG thanks to our hosts from Keyera Corp, Eavor Technologies Inc. & RMH Community Gardens, as well as our funders Alberta Innovates, Canadian Natural, Keyera Corp & Suncor!



It’s been a beautiful week for educational excursions in #AlbertaForests! ☀️🌲 Two energetic groups of Grade 7 students from Nose Creek Kodiaks spent the last 2 days learning about forest succession, biotic & abiotic ecosystem relationships, tree identification, soil sampling & more!
