At 6:00am this morning, a team of experts from the National Observatory of #Athens🇬🇷 and Raymetrics, performed the first collocated measurements of the ground-based mobile EVE #Aeolus reference #lidar with Aeolus. The custom lidar was developed to compliment ALADIN measurements.

#Methane from the #Nordstream pipeline seen from space! The leaking pipeline is putting lots of methane into our atmosphere. This data, from RAL Space using EUMETSAT's MetOp, shows a red plume of the gas between Norway and Iceland, blown there from the Baltic.
