Our signal propagation atlas of C. elegans is now out in nature! We measure the network’s response to optogenetic stimulation of each neuron in the head, one at a time-- over 23,000 neuron pairs. Congrats to Francesco Randi Anuj K. Sharma & @DvaliSophie. nature.com/articles/s4158…

Innocent #sleep is the vital nourishment for our well-being. Quality sleep is the cornerstone of a healthy life, just as it soothes the mind and heals the body. Prioritize your sleep, and let it be the main course in your daily feast. #SleepQuotes #WednesdayWisdom #SleepWell

Why does lack of sleep make us feel miserable, and can one stay fit and healthy without sleep (amid deadlines, shiftwork or jetlag)? Our preprint linking sleep, DREAM (complex) and organismal stress responses provides both the answer and the cure🧵biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Hi Kay M Tye PhD, another option: take DREAM (complex) inhibitors! 😎Check out our new #PrePrint on the mechanisms behind #SleepDeprivation-induced health decline. Out today! 🥳 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

A study in nature shows how sleep affects memory in the hippocampus, shaping how animals remember and navigate their surroundings. 🔒 go.nature.com/3RL9QGG

Great paper, Also true for pretty much everything, behavior, pharmacology also changes a lot throughout the circadian cycle. A lot of lack of reproducible research is probably due to ignoring the circadian cycle.
