Makerere University School of Public Health received an appreciation award today from Ministry of Health- Uganda for its contributions to building a climate-resilient system in Uganda. Rt. Hon. Rt Hon Rukia Nakadama 3rd Deputy Prime Minister, 3rd D/Prime Minister, presented the award to Rhoda Wanyenze for MakSPH's technical support in developing the #HNAPUG.

This week, Makerere University School of Public Health Dean, Prof. Rhoda Wanyenze, officially opened the 11th cohort of Joint Advanced Seminar 1 (JAS 1) under CARTA in Kampala, Uganda. The cohort comprises 20 PhD Fellows, 11 female & 9 male, from nine African universities representing nine African countries.
