I used to want to be a rock star. (I kinda still do.) And now I am! Because Sean Cole wrote this rockin' poem about me -- from his fab new collection After These Messages from Lunar Chandelier Press. Thank you, Sean Cole! 😍🌞🌸

So sad to learn of Anne Garrels's death. I listened to her reports on NPR from the time I was a teenager I think. And met her briefly at WBUR back when Naked in Baghdad came out. She was a legend. RIP nytimes.com/2022/09/07/bus…

This American Life is looking for stories on the theme of "First Christmas." Maybe a first Christmas with someone specific, or in such-and-such a place, or with a new job. Stuff like that. Any ideas? Please DM me. We're especially looking for lighter/funnier stories with this one

When I posted an Instagram piece about David Crosby yesterday I completely forgot to say how sad his passing makes me feel: I didn’t know him personally but it hurts to know he’s gone…

Sigh. I thought I was being so clever and original when I texted this sentence to a bunch of friends earlier. Then I made the mistake of searching it on here. Anyway, Happy Mardi Gras, everybloody. (Especially you Brendan Lorber)
