What makes Golf the hardest target sport is that our eyes are not on the target. “Taking” a target and “Holding” a target are not the same thing/skills. I have a whole chapter on this in my new book.

It’s a baffling issue - to take practice to the course. The purpose of practice should be to be able to retrieve that skill in competition. That retrieval occurs in the brain and can only be done if storage of practice (encoding) is done!

Most poor shots are hit before the start of the back swing with a brain that is distracted and lost the target. Golf is a target sport - without a target, motor confusion is likely!
