When we began talking with Nolan Carroll about how our church (First Baptist Church of Orange Park, FL ) could help his Jacksonville A.A. Christian College, we were just desiring to be a good community partner for these student-athletes seeking to play at the next level. 2/12
Our student minister, John Green was invited to teach/talk/lead these young men through some studies weekly and to serve as a character coach on the sideline during this season. 3/12 Jacksonville A.A. Christian College
In talking with John, I discovered that there were so many varied stories of how players arrived to Clay County to play for JAA and for some, the challenges they had faced and how they have been and are persevering. 4/12 Jacksonville A.A. Christian College
