Today, Maricopa County's Public Safety Funding Committee (PSFC) presented its recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. The PSFC is comprised of engaged community members who were charged with finding a sustainable funding source to support the County's public safety services.

🚨🚧🏗️ Soon, drivers along the I-10 will be sailing through the new deck of one of the Gila River bridges that are part of the Wild Horse Pass Corridor Project. Crews just finished pouring the deck onto the new eastbound bridge, adding a total of 1,600 cubic yards of concrete.

🚗🚦 Big News, MAG region! 🚦🚗 The new dual HOV lanes are officially OPEN along the I-10 between I-17 and US 60 on the Broadway Curve! New HOV lanes are also located on a new bridge that connects westbound I-10 to northbound SR 143 and southbound SR 143 to eastbound I-10.

Gov Hobbs just signed the Jail Tax bill (SB 1144) allowing Maricopa County to seek voter approval for a 20-year extension of the Jail Tax at current rate of 1/5 of one cent. This was the top legislative priority of my Chairmanship and of utmost importance to my Board colleagues
