Scotland have plenty of talented players, but the gap in clinical precision and discipline between themselves and England still far too big, Red Roses deserving of their 42-0 lead.

Call me mad and I know the difference in Championship quality to the Premiership, but Tigers need some firepower in their squad and Fred Tuilagi Jr is having an excellent season for Bedford… played a huge role in their away win over Ealing yesterday

Tommy Reffell back to his best, Radderz and OHC impressing both sides of the ball on the wings, defensively superb, great turnaround from last game… Tigers still far too susceptible to moments of idiocy and we still lack too little impact off the bench to really kill teams

Most capped England men’s international, World Cup finalist, British and Irish Lions winner in 2013, 4 Six Nations titles (including one Grand Slam), 5 Premiership titles, Champions Cup finalist, quite frankly ridiculous stats, what a legend to rugby union.

Delighted to announce that I’ll be commentating the closing game of Roses 2025 this Sunday as University of York Women’s Rugby take on Lancaster University. Watch on Roses Live on YouTube or listen live on Bailrigg FM or URY from 3pm! 🔥🔥

I had a real blast in calling the final game of Roses 2025 as UYWRUFC beat LUWRUFC 15-12, proof that even close-knit games of rugby are just as thrilling, tense and entertaining as high-scoring matches. Apologies for tech difficulties, and please give any feedback for my comms!

It’s days like this that things like the Praza Prowl really come to the fore, kudos to the club for laying the groundwork for this under McKellar, Prem beginning to learn from Top14

Good bit of business by Loughborough, I spoke to Kathryn for Vision ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup a few weeks ago, which you can see below. yorkvision.co.uk/sport/usa-wome…

Last time Tigers played Bath at TW2 it was the “Clash” in 2018 and the result was 19-34, fortunes of both clubs drastically different these days. One of the few highlights of the ‘Banter Years’, Sione Kalamafoni completely outclassed Faletau that day, good memories.

Tough to take, on balance Bath were the better team but we gave them all hell and thunder. Devastating enough to hear Montoya’s interview, utterly heartbroken. Couldn’t be prouder of the team. We’ll be back.

Finn Russell was excellent today, fair play against Pollard as well, Andy Farrell will be impressed. Nicky Smith put his hand up for Lions injury call up, had du Toit on toast.
