Just want to publicly thank Dr. Angus Watson Angus Watson who saved my life over the phone during lockdown! Careful questioning and steady instruction to my (superhero-)husband & a drop-off of meds at the doorstep averted sepsis. Legendary!

Dear Twitter Friends, important development at the EULAR EULAR congress in Copenhagen 🇩🇰: the field of #rheumatology acknowledging the importance of managing pain in rheumatic diseases 👏. Next step = embracing a lifestyle approach 4 managing (pain in) RMDs. #EULAR2022

Calling all physios! Are in-person CPD courses a thing of the past? WHAT COURSE FORMATS DO YOU PREFER?: Weekend ‘hands-on’ in-person? Online, live vs pre-recorded? Hybrid - online followed by a shorter in person component? Looking forward to hearing your opinions!

Dear physio colleagues, recognise this? Musculoskeletal injuries responding ‘oddly’ to recognised treatments, pain moving locations at each visit, ‘random’ pain flares, ‘random’ symptoms? If these keep taking you out of your clinical comfort zone let me help you:

High oestrogen levels around ovulation may contribute to increased risk of joint injury & pain in females. While adequate oestrogen is important for collagen homeostasis, during high oestrogen production periods, collagen cross-linking may be impaired & ligament stiffness reduced
